This is a blog for sharing ideas. I thought of the name Bricklayer, while considering how small, individual actions, accumulated over time (a “brick” at a time), can eventually create something important. This notion reminded me of the pyramids, where thousands of large stones were stacked, over hundreds of years, to create something special. Actually, these large stones were carved, a strike at a time, using small, unsophisticated copper tools. Thus the small actions were actually millions of small strikes to remove and shape the stone from a limestone quarry. And, these limestone quarrys were formed over billions of years as sea creatures perished; their bones drifting to the bottom of a primordial ocean. Billions of small insignificant creatures becoming something as significant as the pyramids.
